LOWELL, Mich.—A team of Lowell High School students is finished with a new mural that will soon grace downtown.

The Lowell Education Foundation is reporting on its Facebook page that student artists Isobel Alberts, Jordan Basinger, Connor Bergin, Santana Boulton, Mikayala Burke, Brigitte Casalina, Madeleine La Vean, Anna Peterson, Emily Peterson, Alex Tremblay, and Paige Wilson put the finishing touches on the mural this past weekend, with the help of Grand Rapids artist Erwin Erkfitz.

The three-paneled artwork will be installed on the outside of the North County Trail Association’s building on East Main Street.  A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place July 11 at 5:30 p.m.
