LOWELL, Mich.—The Lowell Boy Scout Troop #102 is looking for U.S. flag donations to help decorate Main Street during holiday events.

The troop needs 15 more flags to replace worn out ones that have been retired.  The Boy Scouts’ goal is to keep a flag in front of every business for each of the six holidays and special events celebrated downtown.

Each replacement nylon flag is $50. The Boy Scouts will send an electronic copy of receipts to each donor. Checks can be written to:

Scoutmaster Don Aversano says the troop also appreciates any help neighboring stores and businesses can provide with keeping flag holders clean and clear throughout the year.
