Showboat Sizzlin' Summer Concerts enter the '13th Hour'

LOWELL, Mich.-- Thursday, August 22 is the last Showboat Sizzlin' Summer Concert of the season, so it seems fitting that '13th Hour' is performing.

The classic rock group will take the Riverwalk Plaza stage at 7 p.m., serenading visitors with old gems as well as some original tunes.

13th Hour brings experience to the stage, with more than a century's worth  of performances between all four members.  Ken Bierschbach is responsible for acoustic guitar and vocals, Mark Swanson is lead guitar and vocals, Jay Round is bass and vocals for the band,  and Tom Davis provides drums.

The Showboat Sizzlin' Summer Concerts take place in front of the Lowell Showboat in historic downtown Lowell. The performances are free and open to the public.  Grandstand seating is available; visitors can also bring their own chair or blanket and lounge on the green.
