Christmas nears; large crowd lines up for Santa on Lowell Showboat

Lowell, Mich. (WZZM) 23 degree weather didn't discourage people from lining up on the Riverwalk Saturday for a chance to see Santa on the Lowell Showboat.  The jolly old elf started greeting children at 10:30am and a steady crowd kept him busy until 1pm.

The visits are free and so are the pictures which this year were sponsored by River Valley Credit Union.  This was the last Saturday visit before Christmas.  If you are interested in a Showboat visit with Santa, there is one more opportunity on Wednesday December 22nd.  Click on the highlighted link to the Lowell Chamber of Commerce for more details.
