Lane closures planned Thursday on M-21 over Grand River

ADA, Mich. (WZZM) The Michigan Department of Transportation is warning drivers about lane closures Thursday on M-21 near Ada.  MDOT is replacing the bridge over the Grand River and has a temporary bridge to allow traffic to flow in both directions.

The lane closure is for lighting and signal work Thursday from 9a.m. to 3p.m. Both directions of M-21 will be maintained on a single lane using flag control. M-21 is the main route for people traveling from Lowell to Ada and Grand Rapids.  The best alternate route is several miles away.

For up-to-date information on this project and others, go to the list of statewide lane closures at: www.michigan.gov/drive.
