News

LOWELL, Mich. (WZZM) -- We have an update to a story we first told you in March, about a family in Lowell who has been living next to a burned-out house for more than a year.

The house on Lincoln Lake Road caught fire in March 2014.

Neighbors say that was the fourth time the house caught fire, and Lowell police have since started a criminal investigation into the situation.

Lowell city officials tell us they have just received the check to pay for the demolition. The demolition should happen within the next couple of weeks, leaders said.
