Two incumbents lose election bid; millage for museum passes with ease

Lowell, Mich. (WZZM) Lowell voters chose two new people to represent them on the city council Tuesday.

Former Lowell Police Chief James Valentine received the the most votes followed by incumbent Sharon Ellison.  Valentine and Ellison will fill the two four year terms.  Jim Hall came in third and will fill the one two year position on the council.

Also Tuesday, voters overwhelmingly voted in favor of the millage renewal for the Lowell Historical Museum.
