M-21 bridge project update

ADA, Mich. (WZZM) MDOT says crews working on the M-21 bridge project over the Grand River are ready to start pouring concrete.

John Richard with the Michigan Department of Transportation says crews are waiting for two solid weeks of 50-degree weather before they continue work on the project.  Richard anticipates it will be mid to late March before work resumes.

As of right now one lane in each direction is scheduled to be open by late May to mid June.

All lanes should be open to traffic by October.
