Rubber ducks, clowns and fireworks: Lowell Riverwalk Festival is underway

LOWELL, Mich.—The Lowell Riverwalk Festival is officially here!

Now through July 13, the community is invited to take part in a variety of activities, including the Riverwalk Cruise-in on Avery Street, a kayak and canoe race, rubber duck race and live concerts.

Saturday, the FROM the Heart Parade kicks off at noon on historic Main Street.  Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to give to the clowns.  At the end of the parade, Flat River Outreach Ministries will count up all the food collected during the parade to determine who won the FROM Food Fight between Lowell North and Lowell South.
