WERQ'n 4 a Cure!

WERQ'n 4 a Cure!

Are you ready to WERQ.....for a cure? Join certified WERQ dance.fitness.workout instructors Nikki Snyder and Emily Versluis at the Pink Arrow Community Day, July 31st at 5pm for an amazing WERQout.  This class is a donation based class and open to the public.  Suggested donation for this event is $5 with ALL the proceeds benefiting Pink Arrow Pride.

WERQ dance.fitness.workout is the fiercely fun dance fitness class based on current pop, rock, and hip hop music. SELF Magazine calls it one of 2012's 33 Hottest Workouts in the US.

2012 Kent County Youth Fair Aug 6-11

The Kent County Youth Fair Features over 1,000 youth exhibitors displaying their  animals and exhibits. Over 50,000 visitors attended  the fair in 2011. They were treated to free entertainment at the main stage tent and throughout  the fair grounds.

The Save A Life Tour, livestock  auction, Karaoke, Reading for Rides Program, Talent  shows, carnival rides and games, family fun dance,  Xtreme Cowboy Race, pullin' on the track and the children's barn yard are just a few of the numerous  events and activities that go on all week long.

Join us for the 18th Annual Covered Bridge Bike Tour

Date: Sunday, July 8TH, 2012

Registration: At the school house from 7-9 a.m. You can also register online by filling out the form below.

Start location: 13944 Covered Bridge Road, Lowell, MI 49331

Tour options (in miles): 12, 28, 40, 50, 62, 78, 100

Registration fee: $20 for individuals / $30 for family
After 7/4: $25/$35

Relay for Life - June 22 & 23

The Relay For Life of Lowell is here! After months of planning and raising funds to support the American Cancer Society, this year's event will be held on June 22-23 once again at the Lowell High School Red Arrow Stadium.

It is a 24 hour event beginning at 12 Noon on Friday that allows the community to celebrate those who have won the battle against cancer, remember those we have lost, and continue to fight back against the disease.  Please join us mark your calendars to come out along with your family and checkout the event. Our teams and committee members work very hard to make this a special family oriented event that raises nearly $70,000 for the American Cancer Society each year.

This Tour de France style bike race will involve the three

most common forms of bicycle racing. Time Trial, 7.5 mile

out and back where racer compete against the

clock. Criterium, fast paced race on a 1 mile loop where

racers compete for prizes, and culminating in the Road

Race.
